The Farmers' Market is held every Saturday, beginning in late June and ending on the last Saturday of October and is open from 9am - 1pm.
Accepts any WIC vounchers or coupons, Elder coupons or SNAP benefits (food stamps/EBT)!
NO SMOKING is allowed at the Farmers' Market by ANYONE.
MARKET RULES FOR VENDORS:
- Set Up time for Vendors begins no earlier than 7:15am.
- Weekly Dues of $10.00 will be paid to the Market Manager by every vendor present at the market.
- A Registration Form must be filled out by every vendor present every week and turned in with weekly dues.
- Plots are assigned by the Market Manager and vendors may only set up in the plot assigned to them.
- All vendors are expected to leave their plot area cleaner than it was when they arrived for set up.
- All tents and signage must be secured at all times for safety.
- Vendors will not be allowed to simply "show up" at the market to sell their products without prior approval from the Market Manager.
- If a vendor can not attend the market, the Market Manager should be notified as soon as possible.
- Vendors are responsible for the actions taken by their employees, family members, volunteers, or anyone who is helping at their stand.
- If a vendor is growing at a site which is not at their home address, the site at which they are growing must be put on the vendor checklist at the beginning of the season and approved by the Market Manager.
- Only commercial grade, digital scales may be used at the market.
- Scales used must be inspected and sealed by the sealer of weights and measures.
- Hanging scales may not be used at the market.
- Any violation of rules can result in eviction from the market without a refund of dues.
NEW VENDORS:
- New vendors will be approved or denied by the Market Manager only. Approval requires the new vendor to read and agree to the market rules and fill out the vendor checklist and have it approved by the Market Manager.
RETURNING VENDORS::
- A vendor checklist will be given to every returning vendor before the start of each season. This must be filled out and signed before approval is given. Changes can only be made with approval from the Market Manager, so it is important that vendors list everything they intend to sell throughout the entire season.
